So what are we looking for??? We're looking for the "Cool In You" so get ready to show Canada how cool you are! Remember Canada, your votes decide the top 10 so now's the time show the nation what you‘re made of!
How the Cool In You contest works
Beginning May 9, 2011, you will have the opportunity to submit your music video on the coolinyou.com website. Your submissions must adhere to the rules and regulations prior to cool in you administrators approving your videos. Once your music video is approved by Cool In You staff, you will be able to share your videos on social networks, and have your friends share the link, and Like your music video on the Cool In You website, each "Like" counts as one vote.
- You must be 13+ years of age to enter your music video
- You can enter an existing music video from other sites by embedding the link on the cool in you submission page
- You must be singing in the music video
- You must have your being in the music video or a static photo of you on your music video
- Your music video must be at a maximum of 3 minutes long
- You can submit original or cover songs
- You must not use any foul language or images in your music video
- You must adhere to ALL of the terms and conditions before submitting your music Video
Cool In You Voting
Voting begins as soon as the contest opens May 7, 2011 so make sure you get your friends and family to Like your music video and share it! The public will vote for the top 10 entrants between May 7, 2011 -July 17 2011, and the top 10 will be revealed July 18, 2011 on the Coolinyou.com website!
Cool In You Judging & Grand Prize
A panel of industry judges will deliberate on the top 10 music video entries and pick the grand prize winner August 2, 2011. The grand prize winner will receive 2 days of recording with platinum music producer Marcus Kane, including production and mastering, a flight and hotel for two nights to Toronto, and an iSkin prize pack, total prize value $20,000!!!!!
